Takeda Entertainment At SXSW

This Spring, Takeda Entertainment spent a week in Austin for SXSW Film Festival. Co-principal Scott Takeda was there to promote a film and director Lori Kay Allred was there to meet with other filmmakers.

“We’re finally here,” said Allred. “Scott and I have had the chance to experience the big festivals at Sundance, New York, and Toronto, and it’s so nice to see South By Southwest. We’ve got a lot of meetings set up to pitch our latest feature project, and we can’t wait to meet and pitch.”

SXSW originally started as a spring music festival that added a film festival. It’s now become a must-attend spring gathering where independent filmmakers and studios premiere feature films.
