It started on Valentine’s Day 1999 – a true labor of love. After years of working inside TV stations, I struck out on my own to create a production company. My goal was to tell genuine people stories — visual stories with emotional impact. Every story. Every time.

Takeda Entertainment Wins “Best-of-show” Gold TElly
It was just announced that Takeda Entertainment won a very rare Gold Telly Award in the 2023 Telly Awards. This is for a corporate video titled “Ann’s Story” produced for Roche Diagnostics. This is equivalent to a “Best of Show” honor.

Takeda Entertainment Tells stories with Comcast
This month Takeda Entertainment’s Lori Kay Allred begins producing B2B internal films for Comcast - West Division. She’ll be helping to tell stories about product launches and community outreach for the company’s efforts in the western part of the US.
Takeda Entertainment Begins Education Film for State of Colorado
Our creative team has started field shoots for an educational film for the State of Colorado’s Water Conservation Board. Our goal is to help residents know about new rules for using recycled water. It’s turning out to be a timely story. As the American West deals with its ongoing water crisis, these rules will help to stretch this precious resource.

So nice to be back on the red-carpet again. This week, Takeda Entertainment was in Austin for SXSW Film Festival. Co-principal Scott Takeda was there to promote a film and director Lori Kay Allred was there to meet with other filmmakers.

It’s taken a lot of work, but we’re proud to announce that the National Minority Supplier Development Council has certified Takeda Entertainment, Inc as a minority business enterprise (MBE). For nearly 50 years, it’s been considered to be the “gold standard” of certifications, requiring a rigorous vetting process.
Takeda Entertainment Begins More Pharma Work for Astellas
We love return business, and this one has a unique spin. This month, our creative team will put additional finishing touches to update a corporate film series for Astellas Pharmaceuticals. Specifically, we’ll be working to add Chinese and Portuguese versions to a story project we first started two years ago.
Takeda Entertainment nominated for international Award
We are so thrilled! The New York Festivals recently announced their list of Finalists for their 2020 International Film and Television competition. It includes us for a narrative film titled “Remembering Us.” The New York Festivals is one of the highest honors in our business. Other Finalists include leaders in our TV/Film industry like HBO, Walt Disney Company, ESPN, and the BBC.
Additional Astellas work for Takeda Entertainment
We love repeat business. Astellas Pharmaceuticals has asked for additional versions of the corporate film “Patient Centric” that we’ve been producing since the summer. In total, we will deliver sixteen different versions of the film for divisions throughout Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Takeda Entertainment Producers Quick-Turn films for Thomson Reuters
This month, we welcome Thomson Reuters back. Our teams will be crossing the country to produce a series of corporate documentary films for the Canadian multinational media company. It seems we’ve gotten a reputation for telling quality stories quickly because we’ll be turning these films in little more than a week. Whew!
Takeda Entertainment Produces Narrative Film for Thomson Reuters
This month, we welcome Thomson Reuters to our stable of clients. Our creative team begins work on a narrative short film for them called “Synergy.” Based in Toronto, this information company has several divisions – helping companies with taxes, accounting, legal, government relations, and even news and media. This film will premiere later in the fall.
Takeda Entertainment Begins Marketing Film for Astellas Pharmaceuticals
This month our crews are shooting in Chicago and Denver for a marketing film for Astellas, a leading pharmaceutical company from Japan. We’ll be helping them launch a new initiative for their oncology division with the film titled “Patient Centered.” The company is now in Europe, Asia, and South America so we will need to be casting in Los Angeles to get the diversity we’ll need.
TEI Produces Six Films for CHRISTUS Health
We’re excited to have CHRISTUS Health back for a series of six films. CHRISTUS is an international Catholic-based health system and one of our favorite clients. We’ll be telling heartwarming retirement stories about executives who are leaving at the end of the year.
TEI Produces Quick-Turn Pharma Film for Eisai
It’s all hands on deck. This week, our creative team is embarking on “Mission Impossible,” or in our case, “awww…shucks…no problem.” We’ve been contracted to produce a high-end, quick-turn film that we will start and finish in four days. (That’s not a typo.) As we write this, our field teams are on their way out to the east coast to begin filming at the new Cambridge headquarters of Eisai.
TEI Begins Production on John Deere Film
This week, our crews are prepping to fly to the Midwest to film a product reveal for an upcoming autumn show. In our business, it’s rate to have this much pre-production time, but we’re really looking forward to going through all the casting, writing, and scheduling steps to make sure we get this done right.
TEI In Maui For Elite Hearing Network SHoot
We’re hitting the ground running in the new year, producing a quick turnaround film for Elite Hearing Network. Our crews are on-location in Maui filming footage that we’ll be quickly editing into a motivational film that will debut at the Elite annual meeting.
TEI Films another Wingate Hotel Campaign
Once again, we’re collaborating again with 4K production house Brock Creative to film an image campaign for Wingate by Wyndham – a national chain of hotels that targets business travelers. It’s the second straight year they’ve selected us to produce their national spots.
