TEI wins two Telly Awards for Buick GMC

Takeda Entertainment is celebrating two national Telly Awards for videos produced for the recent Buick GMC National Dealer Meeting.

Our best practice video “Red Carpet Treatment,” highlighting dealer Omar Rodriguez (Carl Black Buick GMC – Orlando) won the Bronze Telly in the Employee Communications category.  Our Buick GMC show open won the Silver Telly (the top prize) in Corporate Image.

Our creative team for these videos were Executive Producer Meggan Pope, Creative Directors Colin Paolo and John Penzien, Associate Producer Kendal Anderson, Production Manager Nancy Lockhart, director Scott Takeda, art director Brock Sherman, writer/producers Pat Woodard and Lori Kay Allred, cinematographers Guy Hernandez and Ben McCoy, editors David Lenk, Brandon Russell, and Jaime Wallace, and audio post production specialist Zlatko Makic.

“This win is extremely satisfying because it shows that we have a great creative team that produces amazing work under extreme deadlines,” said co-creative director Penzien. “While I’m thrilled about the Silver Telly win for the open, I’m especially happy that we  made our clients at Buick GMC happy.  This project was one where we all had to come together and give it that extra step to hit the vision for the client, and we did that.  In fact, we exceeded it.  And I’m so proud of everyone.  The open was a great way to kick off the show, and the Telly win is just icing on the cake.”

Now in its 31st year, the Telly Awards is the leading national TV/Film/Video awards competition.  It receives tens of thousands of entries from the nation’s top ad agencies and production houses.  These wins are the 22nd and 23rd Telly Awards for Takeda Entertainment.

Congratulations to the entire team.
