Takeda Entertainment scores an Emmy Nomination!

We are happy to announce that we have received an Emmy nomination from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This is our second nod in the past four years.

This year, our film highlighting a woman living with cancer competes for the top prize in the highly competitive Human Interest category. Our entry titled “Melissa’s Story” is one of 13 nominees.  The winner will be announced at the Suncoast Emmy Award ceremony next year.

“I know it’s a saying, but it’s true: ‘It is an honor to be nominated,'” said filmmaker Scott Takeda. “The Suncoast Chapter has some of the best visual storytellers in the business with really terrific directors and producers from the entire southeast part of the country. I’m just thrilled the judges felt our work held up to their standard. Congratulations to all of the nominees.”

The nominated creative team includes the agency folks from BI Worldwide: Dawn Martin (Co-Executive Producer) Damon Schoening (Co-Executive Producer) and Tom Nusbaum (Creative Director / Co-writer).  Filling out the rest of the team are Lori Kay Allred (Director) Takeda (Producer / Co-writer), Chad Zellmer (Cinematographer), Brock Sherman (Art Director), and Matthew Head (Composer).
