Takeda Entertainment Shoots Client Film in France
Viva la France! This week, our field crews are in Lyon, France for an extended shoot for CHRISTUS Health – an international, Catholic health system headquartered in Texas. We’ll be working with its leadership team to tell the story of its origins which date back to a 19th Century priest and a convent of nuns from Lyon. We’ll craft this footage into a series of documentary films that will premiere at their summer meetings.
“I was surprised to learn that this 350 facility medical system with clinics and hospitals in six southern states and Mexico started in a couple of tiny villages in central France,” said director Scott Takeda. “We’ll be focusing our storytelling efforts on capturing scenics of the locations which haven’t changed much since the mid-1800’s as well as using some documentary techniques to help bring the past back to life.”
Leading the creative team are BI Worldwide’s Pat Skelly (executive producer) and Dain Dunston (creative director). In the field we have Takeda (producer/director/2nd unit camera) and Brian Tiell (cinematographer). Froggie Production’s Vicki Robini (fixer/production manager) and Xavier Roy (associate producer) provide local assistance from Lyon and Paris. Back home we have Brock Sherman (art director) and Zlatko Makic (post production audio).
