Takeda Entertainment Shoots Narrative Film Series for Eli Lilly

Scene from the film “What Matters” produced for Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals

This month, we begin casting principal roles for a series of short narrative films for the oncology division of Eli Lilly. Our goal is to tell heart-felt patient stories from all perspectives: the doctor, the caregivers, and the patient.

“Normally we’ve been asked to tell patient stories by following actual patients using documentary techniques and crews,” said senior producer Scott Takeda. “For this project, the agency and client have given us the creative latitude to expand on those stories, using actors and narrative film techniques. So we’ve gathered our film team together and we’re deep into casting.”

Leading the creative team for this are the agency folks from BI Worldwide in Indianapolis: Damon Schoening (executive producer) and Laura Cohen (unit production manager). The team includes Lori Kay Allred (director/producer), Tom Nusbaum (screenwriter), Takeda (producer/2nd AD), Brock Sherman (1st AD/art director), Dave Klein (cinematographer), Garth Gunberg (lighting director), Slade Williamson (Audio mix/Key Grip), Dylan Wineland (boom), Jessica Chynoweth (makeup/hair), Rhonda Montera (production assistant), Ryan Welborn (editor), Matthew Head (original music), Annie Hamilton CSA (casting director), John Crockett (casting associate), Ashley Poole (casting assistant).
