Takeda entertainment To Bring Schwan’s Story to Life
This week, our field crews are shooting a documentary-style film on highlighting several top Schwan Food Service drivers and their customers. The films will be shown at an upcoming sales meeting for the multi-billion-dollar, home-delivery food service.
“We love telling documentary stories,” said director Scott Takeda. “I think it’s the purest way to communicate a message, so I’m pleased that Schwan Food Service has decided to go this creative route. The agency people told me that they are looking for a very, honest and non-commercial look, so we’ll be shooting with a lot of existing light for this project. We’ll be shooting with Canon’s C300 camera for its exceptional low-light performance.”
The creative team for the films are lead by Katie Johnson (EP) and John Penzien (creative director/writer) of Minnesota-based agency BI Worldwide. With three locations, Johnson and Penzien will direct two of them. Takeda will direct the third. The cinematographers for the shoot are Brian Lundy and Brian Tiell. Bruner Dyer handles the audio. Lori Kay Allred handles production management.
