TEI Opens 2012 With Fast-Turn Elanco Film

There is quick…and then there’s really quick.

This week, director/producer Scott Takeda kicks off 2021 by flying to Indianapolis to direct a near-impossible, quick-turn corporate film for Elanco – a pet pharmaceutical company. The shoot is Wednesday for a film that premieres four days later at their 2012 sales meeting.

“This is one heck of an adrenalin shot to start the New Year,” said Takeda. “A few years ago, a turn like this would have been impossible. However advances in HD cameras have made it possible for me to start post production minutes after I wrap a shoot. Everyone on the creative team loves the creative concept, so now we just have to put on our racing shoes and tell a great story.”

Leading this “Mission Improbable” are the great agency folks from BI Worldwide in Minneapolis: Shannon Tufford (executive producer) and John Penzien (creative director/scriptwriter). The rest of the team includes: Takeda (director), Michael Jensen (director of photography), Spenser Jensen (gaffer/audio), Molly Krist (grip), Brock Sherman (art director/editor), and Jamie Wallace (post production audio.)
