2012 WorldPay Corporate Film

‘Tis the season for…on-site shoots. Director/producer Scott Takeda and his field crews head out to Atlanta during the holidays to shoot a series of quick-turn corporate films for WorldPay – a UK-based payment processing company. Our goal is to help the US branch tell a story of interconnectedness to its hundreds of salespeople.

“The company wants the salespeople to know that they have an Atlanta team of trainers, researchers, and marketing specialists who are ready to help them sell,” said Takeda. “So we will be telling the story by shooting a fun promo film with the support group. This should be a very energetic piece because the folks in Atlanta are so upbeat. My job will just be to bring the spontaneity out of them and make sure we are hitting the story points.”

The TEI team will also produce six “best practice” films. The goal is two-fold: to recognize some of the top sellers and to have them share tips on how they’ve been so successful. All of the films will premiere at the WorldPay sales meeting in early January.

Leading the creative team are Minneapolis-based executive producer Pat Skelly and creative director John Penzien from BI Worldwide. Takeda will write and direct; Brock Sherman art directs and edits; Dave Dawson is the cinematographer; Dave Chapiro is gaffer and AC; Chera Downs runs teleprompter; Bill Hessin narrates; and Jamie Wallace handles the post audio.
