TEI Produces Film For Cadillac

This month, our creative team is busy putting the finishing touches on a corporate documentary film for Cadillac. Details need to be kept under-wraps, but our goal is to tell a story about a new sales program. The film will premiere at a series of meetings later this month.

Director Scott Takeda just returned from a series of field shoots around the country, and he says he’s impressed by the commitment of some dealers who have early experience with the program. This film is also Takeda Entertainment’s first full production with Canon’s new C300 Mark II cinematic camera. Early test shots from the 4K shoot have been impressive.

“We’ve been shooting with first version of this camera for three years, and the image is eye-opening,” said Takeda. “However this new camera is even better. The images have a very cinematic feel to them, especially when we pair the camera with Zeiss prime lenses.  And the 4K resolution just give us so much more detail, which helps us in post production. Bottom line: the images it creates are beautiful.”

The creative team for this film is led by the agency folks at Jack Morton Worldwide: Meggan Pope (executive producer) and David Mervenne (creative director). The rest of the team includes Takeda (director/co-writer), Lori Allred (co-writer), Dave Klein (cinematographer), Tom Levy (field audio), Brock Sherman (art director), Brandon Russell (editor), and Zlatko Makic (post audio).
