takeda Entertainment Wins Two More Telly Awards
Our creative team is celebrating the announcement of two more national Telly Awards for 2011 – bringing our total Telly tally for 2011 to three. Earlier this spring, we learned that our documentary film “Have You Been Tested?” on AIDS Awareness won. Now we learn that corporate films for Buick GMC and GE Capital also nabbed the top prize.
We produced our corporate documentary “Premium Customer Experience” for Buick GMC to highlight the exceptional work of Henry Brown Buick GMC in Arizona, which has taken the lead on providing exceptional service to their customers. We specifically revealed the extensive training they provide their employees through Henry Brown University – weekly on-site classes that teach employees basic and advanced lessons in customer handling.
Our film “Lightbulb” for GE Capital uses narrative storytelling techniques and high-end green screen animations to showcase the dramatic recovery of GE’s financial wing since 2008.
“Everybody on the creative team as well as our agency partners at BI Worldwide are thrilled to win,” said director Scott Takeda. “Obviously, our primarly goal is to tell compelling stories for our clients, so our focus is never on awards. However the kudos we’ve received from our industry peers are a nice side benefit. And our clients love knowing that their participation helped the team to win.”
Now in its 32nd year, the Telly Awards is the leading national TV/Film/Video awards competition. It receives hundreds of thousands of entries from the world’s top ad agencies and production houses. These wins are the 25th and 26th Telly Awards for Takeda Entertainment.
