Takeda Entertainment Produces Five Films for CHRISTUS Health

Our post production team is beginning work on five documentary-style films for CHRISTUS Health – a Catholic-based, healthcare system headquartered in Texas. We’ll be telling the story with footage we shot earlier this spring as well as photojournalism images that director Scott Takeda captured on the shoot. Our goal is to tell the story of how they started humbly in the 19th Century when a bishop requested for medical help from his home on Lyon, France to care for the plague-ravaged southern US after the Civil War.

“We’re very excited to tell their story,” said Takeda. “Most of these locations haven’t changed in the past 150 years. We were able to retrace the steps of these sisters and show the sacrifices they made, leaving behind relative luxury for the desolate American frontier.”

Four of the films will premiere at CHRISTUS Health’s summer meeting produced by the Minneapolis-based agency BI Worldwide. The fifth film “Answering the Call” will premiere at the CHRISTUS Health summer board meeting later this month.
