TEI opens 2011 with a film for GE Capital

Scene using the GE light bulb as a storytelling element

Takeda Entertainment rings in the new year shooting a corporate film for GE Capital. The film highlights GE Capital’s many financial wins from their eight international regions. The film will open their international company meeting in January.

“Like a lot of other financial groups, the past few years have been tough for them, so we’re excited to tell a positive story,” said director Scott Takeda. “2010 has been a comeback year, so we are using the classic GE light bulb as a storytelling element to show how the company emerged from the darkness into the light. It plays into their corporate branding and tells a story about them harnessing their imagination and fresh ideas. I can’t wait for the client to see the finished result.”

Takeda Entertainment will be mixing narrative film techniques, live-action green screen and full-motion animation.  Leading the team are John Penzien (creative director) and Stacey Dagnault (executive producer) from BI Worldwide in Minneapolis. The creative team in Denver includes Takeda (director), Brock Sherman (art director), Annie Hamilton (casting director), Dave Klein (cinematographer), Slade Williamson (field audio), Zlatko Makic (post production sound), and actors from Donna Baldwin Talent.
