‘Tis the season for…on-site shoots. Director/producer Scott Takeda and his field crews head out to Atlanta this holiday season to shoot a series a quick-turn corporate films for WorldPay, a UK-based payment processing company. Our goal is to tell a story of interconnectedness.
takeda Entertainment Wins Two More Telly Awards
Our creative team is celebrating the announcement of two more national Telly Awards for 2011 – this time for our films for GE Capital and Buick GMC. This brings our total Telly tally to three. (Say that twelve times fast!) Earlier this spring we learned our documentary for the MAC-AIDS Fund also won a national Telly.
Covidien Film Goes Video DJ
We are collaborating with DJ 2nd Nature – one off the world’s top video DJ’s on a series of passionate, cutting-edge films for Covidien, a global healthcare product company. DJ 2nd Nature will mix the footage we are shooting with music and pop culture clips into three films titled “Fuel,” “Heat,” and “Oxygen.”
New Corporate Film for Buick GMC
Our crews are just getting back from a three-week, five-city shoot for Buick GMC. We are producing this film titled “Dealer Voices” for the National Dealer Meeting later in the fall.
TEI at ABQ Film Festival
We’re thrilled to announce that our short film “The Rapture” is an official selection of the 3rd Annual Albuquerque Film Festival. We originally produced our film in the highly competitive 24 Hour Film Festival. It screens August 20th, opening for the feature comedy “Here’s the Kicker.”
2011 Emmy Nomination!
Although it’s somewhat of a cliché to say “It’s an honor to be nominated,” it really is true. We are very honored to have received a 2011 Emmy nomination for the documentary we produced for the MAC-AIDS Fund. It’s our sixth Emmy nomination in the past seven years.
Takeda Directs Dark Comedy
For the second year, Takeda Entertainment has teamed up with Wine Dog Pictures to shoot a short film in Albuquerque’s 48 Hour Film Project competition. The film is titled “The Rapture” and is Takeda’s second narrative film.
TEI Picks Up a World Medal at New York
The New York Festivals just awarded us the prestigious Silver World Medal for the documentary film we produced for the MAC AIDS Fund on AIDS awareness. Takeda Entertainment was one of five production companies up for the top prize in the Social Issues category.
TEI opens 2011 with a film for GE Capital
We ring in the new year shooting a corporate film for GE Capital, highlighting its many financial wins from their eight international regions. The film will open their worldwide company meeting in January 2011.
TEI Shoots short film at six flags in Texas
Our crews are just getting back after a week-long shoot at Six Flags park in San Antonio, Texas. The footage will be assembled for a meeting open for KCI – a world-leading medical technology company headquartered in San Antonio.
TEI Shoots Mini-Documentary for Mac-AIDS FUND
We begin shoots later this month on a quick-turn mini-documentary highlighting AIDS awareness. The MAC AIDS Fund is a public charity established in 1994 by MAC Cosmetics to support people living with HIV/AIDS worldwide.
TEI Produces Wellness Film for WDA
This month, Takeda Entertainment begins production on an educational film for the Western Dairy Association about its Fuel Up To Play 60 program designed by the National Dairy Council and the National Football League.
Corporate films for Buick GMC
Our crews have just returned from an eight-day, six-state shoot for Buick GMC. We’ll be spending the next two weeks in post production for three corporate films that will premiere at Buick GMC’s upcoming 2010 National Dealer Meeting in October.
“Game Over” Wins Award
We’re popping the champagne and celebrating after our short film “Game Over” was named a Top-10 film in Albuquerque’s highly-competitive 48-Hour Film Project competition. Not only were we up for Best Picture, but the judges awarded us “Best Special Effects.”
Takeda Entertainment Wins 2010 Emmy
Yee-Haw! Takeda Entertainment just won its second Emmy for Western Dairy Association, taking the top prize in the informational feature category for a healthy-eating story titled “Pizza Day – A Win-Win For Everybody.” This is our fifth Emmy – the third in the past four years.
Takeda Directs Sci-Fi Thriller
Takeda Entertainment has joined forces with Wine Dog Pictures to produce the short film ‘Game Over’ as part of Albuquerque’s 48 Hour Film Project competition. The sci-fi thriller follows five friends who head out for a weekend of fun only to find a nightmare.
2010 Emmy Nomination!
We are happy to announce that we have received a 2010 Emmy nomination from the Heartland Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This is our fifth Emmy nod in the past six years.
Takeda Entertainment goes 3-for-3 in awards competition
The New York Festivals International Television and Film Awards named Takeda Entertainment a finalist in this year’s competition. This is the third prestigious honor for our image campaign for the Western Dairy Association, previously winning the top prize in the National Telly Awards and an Emmy.
Buick GMC turns to TEI for corporate films
Buick GMC is back for more of Takeda Entertainment’s Genuine People Stories approach to corporate films. This month we begin producing five documentary-style pieces using top Frontline and Dateline NBC crews.
TEI works on promotional film for Buick GMC
We are putting our post production team in place to produce an additional promotional film that will kick-off Buick GMC’s National Dealer Meeting in May. The storytelling focus for this opening films will be the overwhelmingly positive feedback we’ve captured in the field.
